And with so many popular artists, it’s hard to distinguish who the best producers really are. There have been many songs to be remembered but only a few producers have really stood out from the rest. Here’s a look at some of the most talented and best beat makers in our world.

We start the list with Dr. Dre. Ever heard of Eminem? He’s probably paved the way for white rappers as he was the very first to come out and get the respect he’s always wanted. Eminem top the charts with several hits, and Dr. Dre is one big reason. Dre served as Shady’s producer from the start and continues to contribute to his protégé with his heavy Beats in recent albums. The Doc produced hits such as Em’s "The Real Slim Shady", "Crack a Bottle", and songs for other popular artists like 50 Cent’s "In da Club", and 2Pac’s "California Love".

Another great producer is Sean "Diddy" Combs. Diddy or aka "Puff Daddy" or "P Diddy" has not only been a very influential rapper through the years but has also produced some of the most memorable Rap Beats ever. As a producer, Diddy has produced two of his number 1 hits which are "Nobody Hold Me Down" and "I’ll Be Missing You". Sean was also the executive producer for Notorious B.I.G.’s 2 studio albums and produced his biggest hits such as "Juicy", "Big Poppa", and "Hypnotize". Combs has also worked with artists like Mariah Carey.

Last but not least is the ever loved and hated Kanye West. If you’re a big hip-hop fan, you’ve surely heard at least 20 songs from this talented individual. Kanye started out as just a producer, making free rap beats for his mentor Jay-Z. But Kanye has taken it to another level in the past 5 years of entertainment producing many songs that have hit the charts and made an impact in the hip-hop scene. His rapping has also been excellent with the millions of his albums sold. He has discovered other successful artists too such as Kid Cudi and John Legend to name a few. Kanye’s hits include many of his own such as "Gold Digger", "Touch the Sky", and "Stronger". He has also produced many songs for other artists giving them a ride on his success.
